In particular, this edition is the complte m'intresse a preset on a PC screen, with all paramtes available in 2 or 3 pages (as against 50 or 100 in a Sampler Ultra ...),

UTILIZATION

No paper manual (except Quick Start and Installation (Summary)!

The PDF manuals are moderately clear.

I feel that if I did not know dja the operation of a sampler, I

GETTING STARTED

The whole is stable cot EMU, for against the ships with Cubase VST is VERY dcevant:
Cubase: crashes, panel dsuet Midi and Audio, VST support trs doubtful

For Emulator X: stable, clean, impressive
ASIO drivers nickel: 5 ms latency on a P4 2Ghz with no problem
irrprochable operation in audio clarity converters
(But large pb config ASIO multi-application, see above)

For cons, I still have not figured out how to get another soft using the same ASIO drivers EMU
(In directX ok, but the latency is standard)
When choosing EMU ASIO in another app, the Emulator X "loses" its audio outputs ...!!!)
There may be qqchose I did not understand that level, finally j'espre!
Note: See above, but what is finally rgl galre ...

Even when I put 8 / 10 for EMU, but would plutt 0 / 10 to Steinberg:
Cubase VST Technology = Very Shit ...

OVERALL OPINION

I've had one week so I do not ncessaire hindsight.
I am still the Discoveries of the product
but I could dja CRER qq spciaux presets that I could not do (or not the heart)
Esynth on Ultra ... (8 x64 LCD!)
Cot sound quality I'm still stunned, it's almost the level of my hardware hardware
(Esynth and VS2480).
Everything on the PC, and that price is just incredible!
(You just put some hands in the cambuoi for everything ... ASIO)

Is all that is I believe, analogic two sym * 8 Mic 48V, ADAT, SPDIF, MIDI * 2, WClock, SMPTE ...
.... When a 1U full version Audio Dock, 16 * 16/16 * 16 ????????????

I write this after all drivers updater for purchase, and 1.71 it is very stable and open if we know the routing procedures in which there is nothing scary (AthlonXP PC 1GB DDR)

The pramps and ADC have, I think, a beautiful color compar other interface ds mm range and any devices found its place in the routing

UTILIZATION

No significant dincompatibilit ... 1.71 drivers
I find the Patch Mix, ie the software management, is a good solution, toff by FX ... which obviously limits their number. The ability to save any level of routing,
bus etc ... is a very valuable option for DtDs mix-rec-mix .... expanders with peripheral / external FX units

GETTING STARTED

Driver version 1.71 is OK now on the teeth
VST32 Pack ... the problems come with lisa latency load seq / HD / Plugin but everyone has limitations. To audio inputs are available from 0 Latency Monitoring of rigor with FX EMU available, and finally jmarrete often twenty tracks VST / Audio on Bus 4-8

Excellently built, breakout box is very durable and looks better in person than it does in the picture.

OVERALL OPINION

Very pleased with the sound quality. No Issues so far.

Overall this is a solid product and for the money is extremely hard to beat.
