- What characteristics have motivated your choice?
PCMCIA. dailleurs was the struggle to find a laptop with a PCMCIA port. but I did not want usb card (too bad) or firewire (no top).
- For what purpose?
music production and electro scene (liveset)
- What is your config (Motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard ,...)?
core2duo5500 1G ram and hard drive laptop musty
- Which instruments or the systems do you use? ...
zindoz

UTILIZATION

- The installation is done it without problems?
yes
- Have you experienced any incompatibilities?
not
- The general configuration is easy?
for there is to configure ...
- The manual is clear and sufficient? ...
not even consulted

GETTING STARTED

- The drivers are stable?
Yes. the occasional freezes that I come from the software I use
- Are they often updated?
update old this year so it's not bad
- What software do you use most often?
FLStudio 7
- What you get lag?
11 ms / 512 samples. the times when AC shit, sometimes less (to save, for example)
- How many tracks you get to record / play time? ...
bah given the number of in and out is anyone's guess ... on the other hand I did not see the usefulness of virtual tracks

by jai against the first card to replace my echo indigo parcequ'elle 3db had more than one side (cool). and the replacement with a slight asymmetry. but ca not get on to the ear. it shows only graphically by measuring with another comp with low volumes. but hey it's less "pro". same integrated card realtek is symmetric.

OVERALL OPINION

- How long have you use it?
4 months
- What is so special that you like most and least?
sound quality is still great. potato ca, ca plenty of decibels (as opposed to my sound card on my old pc: an m-audio pci on stage have to get the sound through the mixer for the correct level. so it was blah. there is the ball with the indigo). then it is super convenient, PCMCIA requires, I do not understand this connection that drops on consumer notebooks (we have not all the dosh to buy portbles pro). small problem at the connector. The mini jack is cheap. but hey we have something for nothing
- Have you tried many other models before buying it?
this is my first PCMCIA card
- How would you rate the quality / price?
I was skeptical at first, I was a little difficult to purchase, but ultimately it's still much of the ball. good report.
- With experience, you do again this choice? ...
I will keep it when I buy my next laptop (unless there have better by then for about the same price and size)
