I chose the Echo Indigo I / O to use VSTi in RPET and scne with my Laptop. I dj a Tascam US122 possde I also bought this in mind (USB port, and small size to win easily and move from desktop to laptop) but Tascam has always refused to work properly on my laptop: the usual PBS, cracking, etc ...
Echo with any of these problems! Trs low latency, no crash in use, its perfect for use as I did (I did not even test the recording).
My config Laptop: Compaq Evo N610C 2GHz 512MB XP Pro HD30.
The connection seems fragile. Mini jack for use RPET-frquente scne, o is the big cable industry that do well on the toy, seems to me a dodgy. The volume button on the top can be handled easily. I prfr the card is connected to a beefier box spar.
UTILIZATION
No pb installation.
Map IMMEDIATE recognized APRS putting the drivers.
Only problem, if I leave the card in the slot sometimes the microphone does not start. It is better that I leave boot, then I put the card. As against it can be removed and the hot hand several times without problem.
GETTING STARTED
I use the 6.10 drivers provided home and I did not take the time to do the update.
I use it with V-Stack + of + Hypersonic + freeware VST Sampletank.
Config trs stable.
My matres keyboards: Korg M1 1 + 1 Miditech Midistart2 connections on M-Audio Midisport 2x2.
OVERALL OPINION
I have been using 15d. I regret the connections, that's all.
J'apprcie stability of Systm, low latency, which can play live with the same sound that house! With a laptop you can get an mga expander and cheap as this card is available trs (in 200). Obviously to make the sound and record srieusement, missing inputs / outputs, but it is not his goal. I think also use it to save the group from its unique RPET.
I do it again this choice without hsiter.
