I play with this pedal for over four years, and it is really excellent!
for speed and flexibility, it is superior to the pedals I've tested the following:
- Pearl eliminator (strap)
- Tama Iron Cobra (heavy)
- Dw 4000
- Janus (too heavy)
on the other hand, in power, it is in the middle.
the only pedal that I was most excited about is the pro one trick, which is an absolute must, but at a price almost three times higher
one big downside: the yamaha does not age very well, especially the hinge attachment between the base and the sole of the foot, which takes a lot of play and began to grind (embarrassing for the records) ...
I try to reattach it, but it not easy to remove without damage! apparently, the 2007 has corrected this defect by placing a new fixation, as what the problem was real
