Published on 01/26/13 at 10:40Happened by the dealer sono the corner, I was intrigued by this kit, consisting of a cell Audio Technica ATN 3600L (without reference noted) and a cell door shell, I just bought and I tests now facing a Ortophon OM5.
So far I have used two cells a Ortophon OM5 or 10 on a dual platinum and equipping an Audio Technica turntable AKAI AP-004 1976.
Paid € 29, but may be cheaper on the net, considering the very low price could fear the worst but now, the first listening it goes pretty good. Should not look good but the spatial detail is quite good.
However, a small anomaly, the channels are reversed. A less fun to disconnect each wire to the back in the right place, which is not a small matter here, simply reverse the plugs L / R input of the amp and turn is played.
On the Rock it ensures its job properly. On the Classic, the lack of clarity and brightness in rendering instruments do not intend to public audiophile music but by its ability to meet the acoustic space it may nevertheless help.
For use for beginner DJ doing by hand, use HIFI, a weight adjustment against 1.5 preserve our precious LPs of accelerated wear.
It therefore seems to me a pretty good deal ... especially as it gets better with use, becomes more accurate after running.
