OVERALL OPINION

Turning to what matters the sound.

After testing all that human creativity has produced since the first Simulanalog in software and hardware the first POD, this plugin is still in the top hi-gain amps in 2012.
Even after years of use, the big sellers (GR, Amplitube ...) are still struggling to get to level ... preferring to multiply models rather than changing the method.

With RevolutionZ, Legion and the TSE X50, it is one of the best hi-gain dynamic level.
Revalver is also very dynamic, but it is too aggressive in the treble.

This is a blessing: most hi-gain amps on top are dynamic, for me, free: D

This amp does not necessarily require an overdrive in front (TSE 808 ...) because it is very sharp, but this may be a "plus".
It's sharp, net of adjustments can be very effective over their entire range (unlike Lecto, very rough draft without overdrive).
Even the clean sound is very interesting, alive.
It is therefore very versatile and will be surprising in the records other than hi-gain.

With a good entry HiZ or direct box, and LeCab2 behind this amp, you're the king of big sound extreme metal, and more.
While not having a transistor pedal that sounds its cold and lifeless.

Try urgently, especially compared to the (non) competition: D

OVERALL OPINION

2 days, I've tried pod xt live line six, Amplitube, GTR waves .... I was looking for a good simulation of hi gain tranchanteà the fear factory and there I think I have finally found the holy grail! I actually added a simulation of tube screamer gtr upstream and noise gate at end of string. this sound! ... I do not keep coming back! This plug is free it's still amazing, it is far above all others! I even compared to face several micro different from my mesa, and there always the same conclusion! Lepou is over!


Note that I HIZ between the guitar in the Universal Audio 610 MK2 with EMG 81.

In short, as said above if you want big sound without the right amp and many spend nothing and download Lepou simulation, the others are also very good (not all thoroughly tested) must also take the cab for simulation and HP pulses. if I have the tps I would put excerpts online

I use an iMac with Mac OS X Lion and Garageband as host (the Le456 is a plug in it needs a host application)

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 15 days.
I play only at home (never snooze, concert or other) and I had a rather bad at low volume with amps.
I tried to see Amplitube and Guitar Rig 3 Free 5 player (both free) history to consider replacing the amps by modeling, solution that I was immediately captivated.
And it works very well. I can finally have a quiet home good quality sound through headphones (or speakers using a Mac). Furthermore, as these two programs can be used as component audio in Garageband, I can add a small drum track more fun than a metronome.
Brief but happiness, but his side I was looking for something better and then can change amp gives it a click cravings experimentation.

By doing some research, I came across the site Lepou, Canadian author of these plug ins, which is being rewritten for the Mac.
Most of his productions is aimed more at big sound that spot, but it Le456 is a marvel in its clear (I have a Mexican Strat).
A priori it is a modeling amp ENGL Fireball ...

There are two channels, bright and saturated, and almost all settings that have been on a real amp.
I do not find that in aggregate, at least for what I've tried, either hyper credible modeling for large sounds (except maybe the Soldano of Amplitube) but its clear it works very well.
It has clear sound Le456 giant, ultra clear, slightly fat, powerful, and crystalline nervous .. of happiness to the headphone
It is free but I think I'll send a few dollars donation to the author (there is a link on its website) because frankly his stuff is better than Guitar Rig or Amplitube for my use.

I use this plug dedpuis yesterday, it's simple look no further, do not buy any software, I have all tests (revalver1, 2.3, Guitar Rig, AmpliTube ...) This one is simple ism and is a die for,
it's simple I board never had such a good guitar sound on my squenceur, even having tried other plugs or having been taken of the amp.
The grain is raliste, very warm and powerful, so be it n clear (which of us is a marvel ...), better than what I get with my microphone and my pramp.
Try it with the plug diffrent speaker simulations available on the site, killing one !!!!!!!!!
I would do the choice of taking the trouble to plug this Tlcharger !!!^^

Trouble-free installation. Dll file is downloaded, it is placed in the correct directory and presto! That's all! No incompatibility with Windows 7 in 64-bit SONAR 8.5 Producer.

It runs like a clock on my PC, but I have a big PC, so it makes sense. A priori, it really does not seem greedy, so it should run correctly on any bike.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it since January 2010. The sound is excellent.
It has 2 channels A and B, themselves subdivided into Clean / Crunch for channel A and Low Gain / High Gain for channel B. Suffice to say that the variety of sounds you can get is immense.
The clean is clean even at high level and high gain has a nice big sound. The various buttons Drive, Low, Mid, High, Contour (presence), Focus, Bottom and Bright have a real effect on the settings and can finely chop the sound.
Through a speaker simulator realistically, we get really great sound.
