Audio Assault has launched Defacer, a free plug-in for Mac and Windows that can radically transform your sound.
Audio Assault plug-ins are mainly designed for use with guitars and basses, but you can also apply Defacer on any other audio source.
The VST, AU, RTAS and AAX plug-in for Mac OS X and Windows offers saturation, rectifier, mix and low-pass filter controls as well as a Deface knob that randomly rearranges the samples (from 2 to 129 sample blocks). These adjustments are available for both A and B channels and a global center section includes A/B, Mix and output level controls, as well as a large VU-meter.
The Defacer plug-in is available for free download from audio-assault.com.
