Upon general request, Audio Damage reworked his free FuzzPlus distortion plug-in, nearly 10 years after the release of the last version.
FuzzPlus, which models a vintage distortion/fuzz pedal circuitry, has been upgraded to version 3 and it’s still free and available in VST 2/3 and AU 32 and 64-bit plug-in format for Mac OS X and Windows.
Not only Audio Damage revamped the GUI with OpenGL, but he included a new resonant low-pass filter based on the Korg MS20 analog synth and a Self-Feedback control that sends the output signal back into the input, which is great for experimenting.
FuzzPlus3 also benefits from a cross-platform preset system based on XML files and you can process the signal up to 7.1 surround.
FuzzPlus3 is available for free download from www.audiodamage.com.
Have a great weekend!
