How long have you use it?
I use the Samsung YEPP for over 2 ½ years.
Have you tried many other models before buying it?
No, but my girlfriend has had 2 256 MB Creative MuVo models during the same time
How would you rate the quality / price?
At the time I had paid 179 euros for the 256 MB, now it's been that expensive net, but you have to put two years ago ..
Level resistance and reliability, it's all good, because I had the opportunity to lug the beast, very cold weather (mountains), hot weather, I have been dropped at least fifty of times and it still works tip top.
It supports basic formats: mp3, wave, wma.
The naivugation is intuitive, easy, and fast. Ideal for those who do not want to get his player out of his pocket to "next".
Shuffle, but no equalizer six modes of sounds (including the excellent SRS), voice recorder (the microphone seemed very powerful!), FM tuner (j'm'en've never served but hey, who would serve?), TAG Management v1.1 -> v1.3, backlight in different colors.
Level autonomy: Ben is the battery so if you put the battery ca saline held a good half hour to break everything, if not, approximately 10-15h for alkaline.
Recognized as a removable storage device in Windows is no need for drivers, no proprietary software.
In short, for me that's very, very positive, except perhaps for the USB connection is done with a kind of "taking" a little pokey, but hey, even for that I do not go down the note at 9!
