I use my Athlon XP 1700 + for 2 ½ years. Tural its frquence is 1463 MHz, which is more than enough to run any application on the Fast Fashion musiquale!
Vidos for games, not worry either if you quip your graphics card and RAM memory drinking ...

What I like is the stability of CPU load: it does not crash ever! DGIG heat and trs are correct for Athlon XP: 2 hours playing Unreal 2003, 50c Max!
(I also use a good program that works great to cool the CPU: CPU IDLE: in fact it disables the processor when windows do not have ... chromium nickel, it crashes and it's been forever ... much lower T)

Before this processor, I had an Intel Pentium III 650 MHz (667 MHz rel), it worked well but I had vivid memory ...

In any case, the ratio quality / price of AMD is excellent. I think if I would change this to an Athlon 64 or Pentium 4 Prescott 3.2/1Mo cache ...
I think even back when the next Intel machine ... a history of gotet couleures koi ...

The only ngatif, compared to the Pentium 4, Athlon it' that uses what is called the P-ratting;
What is ke? an example will be more meaningful for all:

Have noticed on websites or in stores ke PC Athlon frquence have one? Let me explain: kom I've said before, my Athlon 1700 + is clocked 1463 MHz relement! P-ratting is frquence give a "dummy" processor, a chip from another brand (Intel or other ...)

So:

The P-ratting of my 1700 + processor. Despite these 1463 MHz, AMD believes that this is a frquence Pentium 4 1700 MHz -> it's one of the facts leads me back ki a Pentium in my bcanne: they at least have a frquence rel! and wham! but hey this is a true ke kan dtail Ahlon seen my XP running 1.7!
