Native Instruments introduced Drop Squad, a new MASCHINE Expansion for dubstep and bass music.
Drop Squad includes presets from NI’s MASSIVE synthesizer which now comes as a free download when users register or upgrade their MASCHINE software.
The 35 kits and 120 patterns in Drop Squad contain drums, low-end wobbles, FX, stabs, sweeps and deep basses. An additional 10 special kits add tribal and mechanical one-shots along with wobbles, drills and synthesized 'vowel’ sounds.
About 50 included MASSIVE presets add a new element to this expansion. These presets provide wobbles, growls, leads, sub basses, chords and atmospheres found in dubstep and bass music.
A compact version of Drop Squad is also available for iMASCHINE – the groove sketchpad for iPhone / iPod touch.

Drop Squad is available at the NI Online Shop for $59 / 49 €. The iMASCHINE version is available at the in-app store for $0.99 / 0,79 €.
