I will not list the characteristics of the machine (http://www.mc909.com)
but rather talk about my use.
I was looking for a rhythm sequencer box and use of samples.
prcisment is what this machine, with a module synthse trs shame.
Do not expect either of waldorf, but on this point is the level of a pattern "light" or a big XP. Good point.
The connector is for, 6 stereo outputs, USB link machine / PC to transfer all data types (patterns, samples, patches, song). Trs flexible.
sounds and styles are not rvolutionnaires, but for the use I make of me a will. And then to use rhythm, combining samples / drum kits / synthse allows for a wide range of things.

The two multi-effects are good, neither more nor less, routing is done simply by black dot against the rglage inveau effect by the party that is available only in menus.
The Dbeams are trs gadgets, but I was even surprised at t employment opportunities they offer. So in the end I found a trs "physical" as manipulation, and suddenly the expressiveness is totally diffrent that of a knob, a wheel or tape. condition to go smoothly (the area of action is short, but still trsgrable with a little practice).

The squenceur is classic, effective, and if only one is connected to twelve one squenceur software, we can flexibly cope trs PC / Mac and copy the patterns vi recording "wait note."

UTILIZATION

The functions are accessible in large part faade quickly.
I find even when some poor choice.
For example we can through the screen "mixer" (displays rglages for all tracks) change with a click of panning, which is not the most used live, but not levels of routing the multi-effects!? which would be much more useful in a lot of cases yet ...
I recommend to learn so much on this based on what you want to do. In my case I knew I had drang a little but not dramatically as I am "mixquot; by a person lives in the output.

Apart from a, as a whole, the 909 is ergonomic and trs trs well think of lots of points:
- ACCS rapid mixer (track volume, panning, ...)
- The filter envelope and amplitude Fully accessible faade (ADSR + level)
- The Dbeams are fun and casually use trs INTERESTED ... - In the sequencer piano roll is awesome for rhythm
- Management of files (samples, patterns, patches, song) and storage (smart media) is fucking
- The interface is rather intuitive according to the screen, the screen is just large and clear
etc ... dpend your use!

The manual, well it's a manual.
Good place for "my first song with Roland in a few pages."
for the other pages, there's better, but there's also much worse.

SOUNDS

The Veloci pads is correct, but the physical quality of these is rather average.
was no longer properly perform all necessary after a while ... but I did not so the usefulness is not a problem.

Synthse module has good sound, low strings and percussion kits are trs shame.
The sampler's converters are of good quality but again, working the samples on PC, I was a little gal.
(Yeah, relevant comment! Thank you!;))
The possibility of synthse are slightly above the MS2000 to give an ide, matrix modulation and "tones" (bunk up to four sounds in a patch) can CRER of textures ja well INTERESTED.

OVERALL OPINION

Ben plutt that résumé, I let you read all there is to it.
