I use the alto sax for 2 years. I also have an old saxophone and another Cuesnon Buffet Crampon, Evette model. I try a Selmer Mark VI alto, but there were probably set wrong because it does nothing good came out terrible. I also tested a Grassy Alto (Selmer copy), which ran from the fire of God. Like what the setting is super important!

What is widely recognized for the S1, it is the technical advances on the keywork and ergonomics. Everything falls under the fingers, a very natural way, we play really without any effort (even the little finger does not suffer at all). The keys are reactivated, meaning that the force is amplified, but very gradual. It delivers superb playability

The other very aprécierez is the deep bass, easy to remove, even in dpi (which is very rare for a viola).

The only minor detail is that the sax should be set very accurately (lifted etc.) but once that is done, as everything is well studied, it goes wrong most (not seen a luthier for 2 years ). It is also important that it is perfectly tuned to give better sound.

Mine had been set and corrected by Mr. Ferron (who before the feature to adjust the sax who passed through his hands, correcting the jar to give a maximum of harmonics). The result sounds very full, warm and very flexible (the rounder the Classic Jazz at the brighter, with the same setup).

It is a wonderful sax, who will never disappoint you. For 1200 € + tweaks, I have a saxophone that all those who were tested at the highest point aprécient. I would never sell this fabulous sax.
