It's been ages since I have my SerieII and plays like the first day
Selmer is a great brand of saxophone and SerieII quickly became a classic in schools. Personally I love his touch, and fluidity of play
Unfortunately I can give you comparisons, I could not try many Saxophones as mine suited me.
I do not know either how prices have evolved with the release of SerieIII.
Nevertheless there is still a reference, and a saxophone premium.
Mine has almost 10 years and I still serves as a directory especially for beaucoupet Jazz / Funk at the time it cost nine 15000F (2000 €)
I would put 9 / 10, I have no point of comparison, but I really do not see what I can blame him ... it is said in some large schools that some notes are not entirely fair, it must be a good musician to perceive it, and when you're a good musician can be corrected easily.
