«  For the price, pretty good »

Published on 11/15/10 at 06:30
I was looking for a sax with no idea of what this instrument could give me. Just to see if the mood took me to go further. Curiosity.
She was satisfied. For once I think it's a good product for value for money. Now it is used only to set foot in the stirrup. After a year of use it starts to get tired.
Some pads are glued, the springs are of poor quality, but the sound is pretty nice.
It comes complete with bottle, nozzle, a reed, a strap, a bag of tranport hard plastic and a cleaning kit.

* For how long have you been using it?
I use it mostly for 1 year and 6 months since I took over.

* Did you try many other models before getting this one?
I had not tried before sax.

* What thing do you like most/least about it?
The price is of course attractive.
The durability of the product seems to be in the least.
The ease of play is poor but I have not been tested dozens of sax to compare.

# * What is your opinion about the value for the price?
* # Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice? ...
Yes I think I will ever be the choice. It's overall a good product. The finishes are insufficient, but it allows a first approach to the instrument.
It's not a bad little gift for Christmas, for example how some small sax are probably better bill for a slightly higher price.
