How long you use it?

-Use for 4 years before selling it for martin SCX500

Did you tried many other models before buying it?

Non-these are my first scan and then I buy the martin SCX500
and when I saw the difference I went to martin

What is so special that you love the most, least?

-Most of his his lamp 250w and two wheel for a separate gobo and one for color and then as its price

-Are the least weight, its slow response (the time it was my treat dmx signal), it gives off heat (be careful when handling it to burn well let it cool) and the fact that 4 dmx channels that has

How would you rate the quality / price?

I think to start this sound good scan not too expensive and still offers two wheel and a 250W lamp for 170 €.

250W lamp dichroque effect with gobo wheel, color wheel and rotating mirror (X and Y axes).
Everything is controlled by stepper motors not high performance (fast and prcis).
The Systm is ventilated to reduce overheating and can be pilot or operate in DMX mode or Master / Slave (with another DMX-300) or by self.

I have 2 years and I have to dir it is very well! For the price, I believe that there is nothing to say!

All paramtrage is through micro switches on the top of the unit.

J'apprcie particulirement that can cover the surface of the mirror (160 ...), the horizontal and vertical Ractive of movement, the quality of its color filters, gobos which are nice, light output is reasonable trs and its control via DMX.

J'apprcie less speed a little faster Intgr programs, boot time is a little (start sync with the music so difficult mode, waiting almost 20 seconds) and the rhythm recognition algorithm which is a bit worse than the GFL 500 (movements are not all exactly sync with the music).

APRS numerous essays in various configuration, its greatest impact is in a smoky environment (since visualization of the beam that is quickly lost if not) and at least two: the symbol as a relatively small (unless sufficient distance) to fill more pice, two sources are not too many.

For that price I think the trs Contest is strong, especially as the quality of finish is also the appointment.

Frankly, for that amount, do not really do without, even if this is still not comparable with other higher-end scanner (but the price is not the same .. .)

regrille! I go to the dealer I change the camera, I go home all happy and I m'apperoi with horror that his diffrent color and above all it is not Sincro! When used in programing or live, the engine is hard to dirriger the mirror (though not very heavy)! I go back to the seller and he just said it's not n'tait high quality hardware (chinese) and that we should not expect miracles!

So avoid this scan a board that is not for me but a scan a color changer +!

So here jespre that this opinion may change the minds of some who swear that SRAP toys! but try it dja vrritable scan?
Ps: I put a note in because I always used color changer!

I use four of these scans for about 3 years.
I programs with scanCONTROL contest (which I think does not use the maximum performance of the DMX 300).
I am satisfied with this product that produces a good brightness.
With 4 scans, no problem to fill a large room.
It is true that internal programs are not great (too fast for example).
It is unfortunate that the logos do not turn on them-even (but good for the price ...)
I have not tried other scans.
I think this is the base product for good scanners Reduces budgets (good stuff for cheap).
I am now heading towards plutt lyres ...
