Published on 10/03/13 at 03:31I work in a club that has 8 of these machines, namely 4 in February 2010, and four other a year and a half later.
Already, it is clear that it is very reliable.
The bikes run 30 hours per week, and I've never had a major technical problem. Also know that all equipment is serviced every month. The only problems encountered are initiators that drop, as with any device, and HS fan.
The device comes in flycase for the price you wonder how they manage to provide one, strong enough to boot!
The device is quite impressive for a machine MSD, the advantage is that has room inside for maintenance.
The main cover is removed by removing eight screws (do not use force because the thread is limited to the thickness of the plate). As we talk about metal, a slight weakness at the mounting bracket, a little too soft.
Operation level is not bad at all, the big advantages are actually the rotating prism and focus, gobos are not bad, can be others on request, the colors are not bad except for a red totally unusable, and the lack of a congo. The shutter does its job, a tad slow but hey it goes on, the dimmer cut him in a visible beam projection ... Blah blah ...
The brightness is not bad, thanks to a beamwidth low (advantage or disadvantage depending on the use to which it has).
Strong point also, mirror, super fast, precise and fluid movements.
More than fully satisfied with such machinery costs and especially the reliability (in the case of a fixed installation at least. On the mobile I can not give an opinion).
