-One of my machines moin enlightened than the other, I changed the bulbs but nothing has'm probably a manufacturing defect.

I will not point me to lyres for better versatility in terms of movement and accuracy

Very good quality / price ratio is reliable right sixty output from 4yrs.
The original lamp has kept me 1 year for the two I have.
Well suited for use in automatic (master / slave) for very limited opportunities in manual operation.
Very hot but no surprises so far.
Think clean filters from time to time, it easily gets dusty.
I would do this choice if it is for the same use (auto).
Alternatively, for a small budget, ClubScan 250 electroconcept for use on software for me would be the next choice after his dynamo250.

Goodies: Buy the pack 2scans CA8 Controller and fly to 389. Price vraiments friendly and nice effect. Simlple of use and low weight.

Cons: I would say that there is very little to lemoment, this is brand new, except that the gobos tend to shake when you want to fix the beam.

Did you tried many other models before buying it? At one time I had scans Martins, it's better now but it's more expensive ...

Hello I use the machine for over 2 years is just a regular time no problem with it runs perfectly well the bike

I try the contest is not starway is I find it terrible starway there was a problem with the wheel gobo / color after a year

I like the special

these are my first scans and I referred to review this site because I had not much use, but now I begin to go into the high-end applications therefore celon than 130 people move to 250 or 150 msd hti

I just made my first evening with four dynamo 250.

What I like: The weight (- 5 kg / piece)

What I like least: The delivery period (1 month and a half)
The command CA 8 very cheap (I ordered the Scanmaster)

It's been a few years that I practice "the discomobile" and I had the opportunity to work with an astronomical amount of effects:
Derby (with the old 500w RS7)
Pluto (the big secoupe home sapro)

Laser, Strobe ...
Brief as the heavy and bulky and with miles of cable

The price around 900 € for 4 scans the flights, DMX cable, hooks and command Scanmaster.

Today, in light of the most common benefit, I think I made the right choice: Weight gain, gain time, gain effects.
Let me explain:
For weight, there's no photos, for the time, I mean the time installation and dismantling, and the effects even though they are limited by the number of gobos just work the staging of equipment for have a different show for an evening to the other (I prefer the stands at the bridge to avoid precisely the installs copy / paste).

My system consists of two bars of 4 by 56, an effect and a thunderbird home martin magnum 550. If necessary I add bars for 36 and the famous mirror ball (disco icon of the many) and also LN if needed.

To conclude, I think back four by the end of the year ...

Introduction

I've been owning two Dynamo 250 scans for one month.

I used them for two events.

I controlled them via a DMX software. (no music mode!)

I had previously used other models but it's difficult to compare them because they were rented high-quality products (Martin).

Pro: price!!!

Pro: compact fixation system

Con: only one wheel (gobos and colors not independent)

Con: AC power socket on the bottom side (there's no way to place them upright...)

Con: noise (but not louder than other models and it's inaudible once the music starts!) (I recommend you to use multiple socket outlets with power switches to avoid unnecessary noises before powering them up)

Con: resolution!!! It's the major turnoff, in my opinion. I tell you why below.

Con: strobe effect (more below)

Con: impossible to switch between DMX and music mode via DMX programming

Regarding resolution:

It isn't really a problem in strobe mode or with fast movements!

Every scanner has a "resolution".

It's the number of steps per movement.

The Dynamo 250 has 167 horizontal steps and 40 vertical steps.

So when you do a sweep from left to right you can see the image "jumping" from one step to another. The further the image the more it jumps, and the more the effect quality decreases... ok?

So what I mean is that this scan has not enough steps.

But you'll be the only one to notice it during an event!

Regarding the strobe mode:

The problem is the strobe function:

It alternates the chosen gobo and the previous gobo on the wheel.

As a consequence, if you are on gobo 5 and you turn on the strobe you'll see the flood changing from gobo 5 to gobo 4 instead of turning on an off.

The real strobe only works with gobo 1. (alternate gobo 1 / gobo 0 = no flood)

Could it be that every scan has this problem? I don't know...

Good scans! Excellent for mobile applications.

Light, easy to use, easy to transport in a flightcase, and affordable. I strongly recommend them!
