Published on 11/24/13 at 04:58gibson SG made in USA 1989. micro Les Paul 59 reissue, ebony keys.
UTILIZATION
the handle is very comfortable to play, we are at gibson so no surprise. by against the key is really a plus in sound reproduction (ebony).
the tone knobs are very responsive.
the only problem is the switch positions of the microphones is misplaced I think.
SOUNDS
great handle, great touches, great sustain, its sick (PAF Lp 59 reissue).
This is a guitar made for the brown sound. typical of the 60s, 70s. acute micro sends heavy for the lead and the neck pickup is very serious for stoner riffs is a killer.
the humbuckers that fit this guitar are very good, they have a relatively low level of output relative to the current micro gibson, in the spirit of P90.
OVERALL OPINION
used for 5 years, a lot of concert .... nothing to do with the SG equipped 490T or other SG late 90s to today.
For all those who want to have a good way of his dirty drooling as he takes on all the 100w lamp old.
value for money is impressive. vintage is fashionable! the price of a new current sg rotten! you have touce ebony, with pickups found today .... there should be 1500 euros in mini gibson for that! great choice!! plus it is quite rare!
