In rehearsal and live, whether outdoors just transplanted the head or over-recovery with two SM57 biphasic on big stage, the power of this metal snare is a quality price ratio exeption.
I use it with a skin Evans G1 coated for harmonics, and taut skin! This is a shot rifles spring mix and gives me a beautiful rhythmic foundation snare, bass drum!
The look is pretty neat if you like shiny metallic side and the shape of boots and tightening screws!
I wanted a metal snare to enrich my rather wooden park, it is suitable for, is very versatile, I do blues and rock, relaxing the skin, a fatter sound is easy to obtain and the tendants, c is a clear and sharp sound (métallique..!)
I would do the same choice without problem after less than 400euros try black panthers, more expensive ...
