This must be 2 years now that I use, I chose black silk finish (beautiful finish also, you can see the wood grain show looking closely, really nice, the varnish is quite frankly ). With Evans Ecs I draw a very dry sound medium, perfect in a context a little funky-fusion, but for me as a fan of body sounds to Gavin Harrison (Porcupine tree), well ... Not really my trip. Must say that the body here is maple, not a very wise choice on my part (I much prefer metal cases very deep). I keep it anyway because it can be very useful in certain contexts. With experience for the same price I would have probably opted for Sensitone range in Pearl.
