I use this snare for a week, mostly with brushes or rim, with a wind trio.

What I love is the warmth of sound and color (I took the model Amber).
I was surprised at first by the power of sound that emanated from the box, with just the brushes. But the new look (rather nice enough to play) original, signed Remo, there is probably something.
However I was nervous for the tensor stamp plastic. I think it will be the first thing to change (possibly with the skins to go on a real ambassador coated or equivalent)

The only models I had tried before were steel boxes (a Tama and Pearl which I still play regularly in an orchestra), and I must say that what came out of it was a different pace.

For the price / quality ratio between perfect and really good.

With experience, I will maybe a snare drum in another type of wood as birch, but currently it is not subject to part with it, until I have not found this sound another fund.
