Evopax has announced the release of the trial version of its new D-Five EQ VST plug-in for Windows.
The unit has parametric, graphic EQ sections plus a limiter like in the full version but some functionality is restricted, Evopax says, adding it’s possible to test the quality of the final sound and the precision of all the relative sound modules.
The trial version has the following, “almost intact” according to the company:
- Limiter / clipper with envelope follower but only works during three minutes of use.
- Animated sliders. This option is useful to change the stereo image fast and accurately.
- dBFS metering with peak warning in each channel.
The parametric and graphic sections have some controls deactivated although the right graphic channel is functional via animated sliders.
Pricing, Availability & Discount
For the two weeks after releasing the trial, D-Five is offering a 20% discount via a special code that you can request only at promocodes[at]evopax[dot]com (send an email).
The normal retail price is €59.
