Mellowmuse has released AAX and VST 3 version of its IR1A reverb and EQ1A plug-ins. In this occasion, the latter is now a freeware.
If you don’t own the Mellowmuse EQ1A equalizer, you can now download it for free in VST 2/3, AU, AAX 32 and 64-bit as well as RTAS plug-in formats for Mac OS X and Windows.
The EQ1A is a smooth analog style EQ with a minimal phase distortion. It features a 10 Hz – 1 kHz high-pass filter with variable Q, 30 Hz – 500 Hz low and 1.5 – 18kHz high shelf filters, Peak-type 70 Hz – 2 kHz Low Mid and 500 Hz – 6 kHz High Mid with variable Q. Internal processing resolution is 64-bit and a bypass switch is available for each filter section.
