The final version of the Renoise 2 DAW will launch on January 15.
Renoise is based on the heritage and development of tracker software, and its primary use is the composition of music using samples. The main difference with other music software is the vertical timeline sequencer used by tracking software, as opposed to the horizontal timeline sequencers.
Renoise 2 is described as “a cheap, community driven app that runs on Mac, Windows, and Linux.”
