Have you tried many other models before buying it?
no ... I have confidence in his A Custom cymbals plusiseurs already have this series.

What is the particular feature you like best and least?
+: Crystal clear sound with a touch of nice medium, reactive, which clearly accents. I have a Splash 6 Avedis complement and ca goes well!

-: A slight lack of volume when oats well ... My preference goes to the K Custom Splash 10, it is unfortunately Felle after 5 years of loyal service ... But the price of the latter is far too high. That's why my choice was the A Custom.

How would you rate the quality / price?
Okay, very good sound and solid enough despite its thinness.

With experience, you do again this choice?
Not. I think back on the K Custom 10 which sounds still bigger!

I got this cymbal at BIRMINGHAM DRUM CENTRE! They gave it to me for a great price as i had to by a boom arm to fit it onto the kit as well and it almost bankrupted me being only 16! But the RRP is around £75 I got in for about £65 which is fairly lucky! I got this because of self indulgence, I know i should be saving for another crash or a double bass pedal but this cymbal is too good to be true!

Wow, where to start?! First of all its only 10" so its easy to fit into the smallest places on your kit and its not much hassle overall. Secondly, it has a gorgeous brilliant finish...its very shiny! But of course, most importantly, the sound is amazing! It can cut through a lot of other sounds due to its high pitch and general loudness, despite it being a small cymbal overall! Also, if your roll along the cymbal, it makes the NICEST sound that can fill the ending to songs VERY nicely! It also has quick decay, making it great for those situations where an explosive cymbal needs to come in to make the beat more exciting but a crash would be too powerful, its a great median and its reaaaaally versatile! Also, the bell? Perfect for "fun" music, its great!

Hmmmmm the only problem is it's brilliant finish. It might look pretty when you first get it but this cymbal is high maintenance visually! It somehow gets very dirty very quickly when you touch it even a little bit. Also, I've only had for a month so it's durability is questionable due to the fact it is paper thin, but zildjian offer a years warranty on all their cymbals so its probably going to last that long and then some!

Well it's a cymbal so all I can say is I bought it new and it looks GREAT!

Quality: this Splash is everything a splash cymbal should be. Powerful, quick, querky and versatile. When you buy it you'll probably fall in love with it and end up using it more than your crash cymbals!
