«  A classic and safe strat »

This is a Mexican of good quality, with the usual characteristics of a Stratocaster. Alder body, maple neck, 21 frets and 3 pickups Tex Mex. Own a stratocaster settings without notable feature. Bone nut.
Mechanical quality is higher than that of Squier, which are more "cheap"
The varnish is dense and beautiful: mine is not exactly blizzard pearl but lightly browned, it is even more beautiful. It evolves according to the lights.
This is a discrete design that fits well with the spirit of this elegant guitar.

UTILIZATION

The grip of the guitar is very well balanced. Its weight is heavier than some stratocaster chouilla but we can not speak of a heavy guitar. The important thing is that it is well balanced.
Maple neck with a varnish that does not stick. No surprise at the game
Usability: bah is a stratocaster, ie ergonomics incarnate!
Easy access to acute as on all stratosphere.
The sound is very easy to configure.

SOUNDS

Tested with a guitar tube amp Bugera V22 to its mostly blues.
No surprise at the sound: it is a typical stratosphere with crystal clear sound. In contrast, no significant particularity. But at least you're sure to have the sound that is associated with this type of guitar.
In terms of quality if I compare with the same amp with strats inferior (Squier CV or VM particular or lesser extent Mexican standards):
-The mic positions are more individualized level sound reproduction,
It is the most accurate,
It better supports pickup saturation and does not sound tinny.
It is clear that this guitar is not made for large saturations but the definition of sound in rock and hard rock is good. Above all, she excelled in the blues.
Note that unlike the classic vibe, and unless your bridge / tremolo is set incorrectly, the "not excessive" use of vibrato does not tune the strings. I mean by "not excessive" non-vibrato triturated which as its name implies, allows the sound to vibrate.
These microphones are one level higher than the Duncan designed the Squier VM eg output and better meet marked sound effects such as wah, wah, chorus etc ... There is always the possibility of having a good sound with these effects as long as you have an amp that makes sense.

OVERALL OPINION

This Mexican guitar, located mid-range Fender is of sufficient quality for an experienced professional or amateur use.
Its main feature is its elegance and its "classic" is a Stratocaster "vintage" of a "standard" configuration, that is very respectful of the stratosphere as originally designed by Fender.
You therefore will find no lack of taste, this is the safe bet.
In contrast, it has a lack of specificity ... in other words those who expect to be surprised by his "coming out of the box" can go their way. If you choose this strat is that you prefer tradition.
