Made in Mexico.

Five pickup combinations

Nice finish, beautiful guitar.

UTILIZATION

Pleasant neck, easy upper frets access (easier than with my Les Paul, which is normal!).

Lighter than my Les Paul but not too light anyway.

Good playing comfort.

The sound is good. I thought about changing the pickups but in the end I didn't do it. I play with a 5-watt Epihone Junior (tube head + speaker cabinet) with EQ and the sound is very good for blues with the neck pickup.

With my Peavey Prowler 45 the sound is warm and the guitar has a long sustain.

I will lower the action because it will make bends and hammer-ons easier and the guitar produces no fret noise anyways.

SOUNDS

This guitar is quite versatile but the sound also depends on the amp... I find it sounds great for blues and quite good for jazz... Fat distortion sounds are also possible but I prefer moderate distortion. You can also get a Jimi Hendrix sound.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought it secondhand on ebay three months ago. I had previously tried out a Squier and an Ibanez. I'm happy with my purchase because I bought it to play blues and it has become my favorite guitar (I also own an Epihone Les Paul and a Ibanez jumbo electro-acoustic).

I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again and I will keep it.
