Fret-King Super 60

I opened the beast for the sake that I will develop further, the wiring seems unshielded. Too bad, it really is the economy of penny-pinching! I lower the rating on this point.

The pickguard is a three-ply and the vibrato plate.

UTILIZATION

It's a Strat, everything is most Strat. Excellent comfort, ergonomics hair. The handle, a real highway! When empty it already sounds superb with very good sustain.

SOUNDS

I'm a bluesman-jazzmen-countryboy then do so! I'm in heaven! I play a blues junior tweed fitted with a jensen. I love that when it shines, I'm served. The presence of a single tone on the Super 60 requires you to correct a little with mics you use. In fact I was varied between 5 and 20% of its travel about.

I drop the note due to lack of insulation of the guitar: the knobs are noisy, means "poc" when you get to limit the effects for "violing" and was a bit of hiss when the volume is open . I apparently blames the unshielded wiring (I open a topic with photos of electronics to talk ...) No ground noise roaring on the other hand.

Well it légé concern does not stop me to appreciate all the qualities of the instrument, but crap for a few inches right cable ... Trev you kidding!

OVERALL OPINION

The Strat is a guitar made for me. It was my first guitar (cheap copy eh ...) Then I owned a Fender Strat Deluxe over which was a big disappointment and then it was I who was not ready ... Then 335, les paul, tele ... Humph! I went back a G & L Tribute S500. Ahhhh! It feels good to feel at home either! Well I did not like the ceramic pickups, vibrato and using the wood of the body a bit limited. But still good vibes! I am now the proud owner of a Strat with a violin and a acastillage impeccable, very good at his vintage microphones and wiring of shit. Well, for less than 500 € I am very very satisfied!
