Harley Benton MS-15

2007 made in china, mine is white with brown button. 22cases, fretted basses such fine vintage. The muzzle to the forearm is significantly better than the real stratocaster, rather than on the top rear (my arm from above, I do not know yours).
The handle is wide enough and rather tough, it looks like a Jeff Beck Start in fact. Nice.
The vibrato is blocked, saw Harley, as the mechanics are very basic it is consistent. That said, I never had a Start vibrato works issue.
Everything is well done, very big surprise considering the price. Ten So. No, twelve!

UTILIZATION

Must arrange the fret board which tickles but that's it. Very nice, that big stick, and it sounds too big (would like ...). The simple three microphones are very good and my faith differentiated. Like the center is polarity / reverse coil noise disappears in positions 2 and 4, very cool. But I better see the next chapter.
In fact any use can not have a problem with a Start style.

SOUNDS

Little trick house rewired the machine in three positions (one sleeve, sleeve and center side, center and acute in series) I have my favorite sounds and no noise in 2 cases.
So big heavy sounds of good conduct and interference-free position at the bottom. Total cost is a 3 position switch 5 euros, but the original will also switch if one accepts that the middle three positions are identical. Go ye therefore, not sissy and in any case we never what to stock so much to do with what is already there ...
So the sound is ideal for a clean fingers, two for the Rhythmic clean funk bluesy crunch, the three Graoua for that spot and surprise solo o (serious enough to make it sing).
Currently I play rather hard with either a peavey 15 inches (with the wild Panard Start) is a beast 3x10pouces ('the attention zoreilles huh ...), an epi valve junior head but hey no miracles in the latter case ( yuck, I do not see what you can find this kind of tube amp while 5w. The look?).
I removed the springs in the back and put a piece of wood to block the tremolo, and especially his best microphone position less than three "thoroughly Marcel".

OVERALL OPINION

This machine is crazy, for the price there is something to ask questions (on the rates displayed by Fender, do you speak mexican, whose production costs are probably not much higher than ...). Harley
Intonation, height of bridges, nut, no complaints. Only fitting to have the strings closer to the handle: I put a piece of cardboard between the handle and the body, and the fact that there is nothing more than a touch.
I intend to install microphones Tex-Mex to test the thing, I think, and get the strat ultimate characteristic but adapted to the modern world (no vibrato, no noise, no bankruptcy, either).
The shape of the head is almost in line, this one does not see the pictures on the site (not crazy with these Rican and their lawyers ...).
I have had several Harley (a 7cordes, a classic ovation, a nice ovation with small holes, three basses, a blue saber) in recent years and each time nothing to grumble issue settings and build quality, I would say that mark the road and takes it right. Amp side is less well uh, not great.

I highly recommend this guitar, amazing value for money. That said, and it is expensive for the U.S. too, it will still not do everything for you huh

The Channel is enjoyable and versatile plutt nothing to report short-term
