Good tones

Ibanez RG570MHPublished on 11/22/11 at 12:43
There are two things that people should know about Ibanez guitars, one of them being that they're very budget friendly and inexpensive instruments. The second is that they are very comfortable guitars to play as well because the necks are very comfortable and with the unfinished oil. It's very easy to slide your hand up and down the fretboard because of the oiled neck. This is a great guitar and overall it looks very cool as well. It doesn't have your regular paint job but shows off its natural wood grain. One thing I don't like about this guitar is the gold hardware that is throughout the instrument. I've never been a fan of gold hardware because it looks very tacky and foolish.

UTILIZATION

The features on this guitar are pretty extensive. First off you have three pick ups installed on the guitar. You have a humbucker pick up in the bridge as well as in the neck position and then you also have a single coil in the middle position. This gives you a vast array of possible tones to choose from. You have a volume control knob and a tone control knob as well as a five way to pick up selector. In addition to this you have a Floyd Rose tremolo system that allows you to get those cool vibratoo tones.

SOUNDS

If you like a nice shredding guitar that fits well with a high gain amplifier than this is a good guitar to own. It has a great feel on the neck because of the unfinished backside of the neck. Also the action on the frets is pretty low so allows people to shred and solo thats very comfortably and easy. The unfinished body as far as the non-paint job that really shows off the grain allows the guitar to breath and resonate much better than having a polyurethane or nitro paint job. So this guitar really resonates very well compared to those other guitars that would have a paint job. This is a fun guitar looks very sharp as well, other than the gold hardware.

OVERALL OPINION

These guitars are very hard to find because they are discontinued. I have no idea what the going used prices are for these guitars but I would suggest just going with a newer production model from Ibanez because they make pretty comparable guitars to this one. These are fun guitars to play and very comfortable to record with as well.

The sound is interesting not shine by its originality, especially Ibanez typically round and warm (mahogany body forces)

SOUNDS

She decided a long time, especially for sounds overdrived or saturation. The clean sound is a little too greasy for my taste, but you get done. However, nothing to do with a Stratocaster is resolutely against foot-tone ...
I play Peavey Bandit 112. I get a clean sound honest mixed race + central position, with background tone. I love the strong warm saturated sound in the bridge position.

on the other hand, double handle on one side did not convince me, nor the central one. Central Joint Position + bridge is usable but not too original ...

OVERALL OPINION

I have since 1995.
What I like least: the floyd is the shit to agree, and I do not change strings!
I bought more on a whim, I was a beginner, and I wanted a guitar with versatile sound a little, pulling a little on the sound of a PRS.

I have always, and still one of my best guitars.

The value for money was excellent (about € 850 with satin finish mahogany body, floyd acastillage golden).
I fitted in 2008 PRS humbucker (Hf Treebles and Vintage Bass), and it sounds much better. It would take a good micro center to complete the whole.
However, it lacks a table in maple for a brighter sound.
It sounds very strong "metal".

With the experience I would do this choice, although now my tastes have changed, and my budget too!
