- Where was it made? (USA, Japan, Mexico, France...)

I guess in Japan.

- How many frets, what kind of pickups and what is the pickup configuration?

22 frets, two single coils (neck and middle), one humbucker (bridge).

- What kind of bridge does it have (Floyd Rose, Wilkinson....)?

Basic bridge.

- What about controls (volume, tone, pickup selector...)?

Volume and tone controls, toggle switch.

- What kind of neck does it have?

Rather slim (rock/heavy metal style).

UTILIZATION

The neck feels comfortable, access to the upper frets is ok... You'll find better.

I like the neck but it was my first electric guitar. I've owned it since 1995. I find the slim neck very practical but it's a matter of taste and style. Average weight for this kind of guitar (budget).

I played it a lot with my Line 6. The guitar seems to sound always better as times goes by. I play alternative rock and metal so its rather dirty sound is exactly what I was looking for.

SOUNDS

It was my first guitar so I think it influenced my playing style. It matches my needs!
Off topic: I even made a studio session with it and the sound was very good.

I played a lot with a Line6 SpiderII 210 and the guitar was no limitation. I currently play with a Carvin amp head and my sound took a whole new dimension. I never thought I could get such a clear sound from my guitar, especially after 15 years.

As a summary, this guitar gave me what I expected... fun at low price.

OVERALL OPINION

I've been using it for about 15 years.

I like its shape a lot.

When I bought it I didn't know anything about guitars. I tested a Squier Stratocaster... At almost the same price, the PS1 was much better.

Very good value for money. Don't expect an amazing sound but it's really good considering the price.

It's true, it's a budget guitar but I'm very happy I could learn to lay guitar with it. Perfect for a beginner! So yes, if I were a beginner I would buy it again!
