Note: See previous posts for the technical description. ;-)

The violin is beautiful. The finish is correct.
The woods are well chosen, and as has been said, the colors of the site are darker than true. (The model Amber flamed, gives an orange / brown)

UTILIZATION

Handle very nice.
Access to acute impeccable.

I have a problem against by action on the handle (the strings in buzzent game a little funky or "riffs a bit wild", so I had to raise the bridge high enough to avoid that.
I took him to a luthier who has taken up the nut block chords is a little better, but that "frieze" yet.
The maker advises me to go with cords 11-52 minimum to limit the friezes.
and / or planning to go through hoops ... '(~ € 100) ...
So one downside to the overall quality of the product .... just for that ...
In comparison, I have a LAG Roxanne 97 (type a little Les Paul / arch top body), and there, despite the higher price of Arkane, I can not find the quality of finish, or the comfort of game ( incredible flexibility), or the action extremely low ropes ...
In short, the Made in China has not only good ... The Arkane is not as well regulated ... It's a shame ...

SOUNDS

For sound, I'll go against other members, but the EMG passive disappointed me very quickly.
The clean sounds and crunchy is good, but the grain distortion is disappointing for my taste.
(Rather bland and flat despite a good tube distortion)

I ended up changing them by PAF JOE Dimarzios and Mo'JOE, and there it has nothing to do ...

Microphones DiMarzios restore the harmonics resulted in the violin (mahogany / maple is a shame to miss out!).
The sustain is excellent (it was not the case with the EMG which fell very quickly!) The grain is so great for rhythm and solos ...
You can (finally) really play with whistling harmonics to Dimebag Darrel or Satriani ...

I put a lower rating because the EMG did not satisfy me at all (very bland grain & sustain)

OVERALL OPINION

I for 1 year.
I have fun with.
The floyd is precise and stable.

Grain (noise) of the violin is nice, but not reflected at all with the original EMG.
I recommend an upgrade pickups ...
If it again? I think I would go hang out with Ibanez ... For the same price, the violin is also well finished, better paid and equipped Zero Resistance Floyd or Zero Point or EdgePro II ...
