I bought this guitar at Murch Music in my hometown as a first guitar. It cost me $199.99 (CDN).

Firstly, this guitar looks amazing. I got mine in sunburst, and could just stare at it all day long. It also has a sweet-looking upper cutaway that is longer than most guitars. The guitar has a very nice feel to it, with almost perfect weight. It has a humbucker in the bridge position, which can producing riffs and licks that sound good beyond words. Also the hardware is tight and snug. The stock tuning machines are high quality, sealed machines.

The tremolo bridge on the guitar is a tad unstable--it will drag the guitar out of tune after a session of dive-bombing. This is only a minor problem though--I can't really fault the guitar for it.

The quality on the guitar is uniformly high--no flaws. Straight out of the box, there are no scratches, and nothing is loose. As I said before, the tuning pegs are good sealed units--another plus. Also, the guitar has a 5-year warranty (hurray!).

This is an excellent guitar. If you are looking for a first guitar, you should definetly check this one out. For the money you pay, you get an incredibly high quality, versatile instrument that can produce any sound you want and play any stlye of music--whether it be rock, punk, metal, country(shudder) or anything else you can think of.
