UTILIZATION

The guitar has been designed according to my desires (with the good advice of Pierre-Marie), it perfectly meets my expectations.
I had a twenty guitars and have tried a bunch of dung Chinese custom shop U.S..
I decided to look for a guitar simple, sober, bling-bling, which is a good compromise between equipment and ergonomics, and with a special microphone configuration which would be the most versatile as possible (except for the metal as j have already what it takes). All for a price not forcing me to sell one of my kidneys ...

After the turn of the guitars series, I addressed the issue of the luthier. I made some contacts with some and finally came to the site of PMC. And then the revelation! Exactly what I was looking for!

First I exchanged a lot of emails with Pierre-Marie (who responds super quickly), and then we met in Paris. 5 months later, I received my Blast with PMC T-Shirt and a CD containing all photos in manufacturing.
This class is not it?

Of course during the design we exchanged a lot of e-mails to define the last details like placement of knobs and I received the photos as you go.

Everything is perfect for me: ergonomics strat body type with a smaller gauge, and handle pace Slim Taper profile Gibson, microphones SP Custom Trinity to have sounds Single Coils and Humbucker, quality woods and finishes , hit the handle with oiled-waxed incomparable ... In short, this is the best!

SOUNDS

I was looking for microphones absolut versatility, knowing that I played on a Vox AC-15 and a vintage Orange TH-30 for modern (although it can rang on vintage crunch).

My choice is focused on enabling Trinity Custom SP 3 sounds: A real coil Jazzmaster, a real coil Telecaster, both sets of sounds for PAF Humbucker typed.
I already knew the Custom SP saw that I had a pair of Jazzland on a Schecter C-1 and I have a Binity a Gibson SG-I.

Trinity gives the real sounds simple (not a double splité) that sound very strat in mind, which is surprising given the violin mainly Mahogany Blast.
Duplicate found his true PAF hinged, medium singing. However, with output level slightly higher than Classic57 Gibson and shine this.
Regarding the gloss finish is not painted for many.

I opted for the mini switch 3 positions, which allows me to use the 3 sounds and
with the mixture of microphones we arrive at the possibility of 15 different sounds.

The finale was a guitar that allows clear sounds great, sounds very rock crunch and saturated with organic grain and take the road with a high gain.

OVERALL OPINION

After some time of use, I am still delighted with my Blast.
This is exactly what I wanted. In fact I almost sold all my guitars and now I know that I would pass by Pierre-Marie for my future projects.
No need to go through U.S. industrial brands priceless when you see the quality of our French craftsmen ...

The CMP still a big flaw: when you are tasted it no longer wants anything! :-)
