Guitar-shaped stratovolcano made in the USA, Bolt-on maple neck, rosewood fingerboard with very high quality, 24 jumbo frets, mechanical Kahler and Floyd Rose vibrato under liscence (Kahler as mechanical)

Config micro typed 80s: 1 double 2 singles.
Originally the guitar had to strip MARX PJ pickups, which I replaced with an EMG 81 and 2 EMG SA (in hindsight, I should keep them, micro very rare).

Volume and tone.

The handle calls to shred, it is excellent.

UTILIZATION

It is a guitar type Strato therefore perfect balance, access to treble is good but not a driver either.

The guitar is very heavy, barely lighter than a Les Paul, unfortunately I do not know the wood is made body.

The grip is almost immediate, we feel the quality of materials used and build quality, mine is a graph with a custom signed in 1991.

SOUNDS

I can unfortunately tell you about the origins of microphones, I have changed after one month (18 years ago !!!).

The EMG 81 pickups roared and is incredibly accurate, Metal, its effectiveness is well established (Metallica, Slayer, Shadows Fall, Zakk Wylde ...),

2 SA's are doing their job, allow the serious version of little wing snapping certainly more than a strato but also more personal.

They also provide access to the world of funk quite convincing.

It suits me very well but it's not a setup microphone (EMG 81) which makes it the most versatile, I should keep pj marx <img class="smiley" src="/images/audiofanzine/interface/smileys/icon_cry.gif" alt="" />

OVERALL OPINION

I bought this guitar at 92 and she never left me, and when I see the rating argus, if you're lucky enough to see opportunity, why not, given the violin and quality, you will not be disappointed, and she will follow you always, you'll just have to adjust the pickups to suit your tastes.
