The basswood body is covered with a satin varnish very soft revealing a good quality wood. The Channel whose profile is in C, is maple with a rosewood fingerboard has 22 frets and well finished. Note how the head color matched 70's.
Electronic issue we have here three single coil pickups with AlNiCo 3 staggered studs (please!) Wired vintage style: a general volume, 2 tone acting respectively on the neck pickup and the middle. Fortunately, the selector remains 5 positions!
Like what Squier is not mocked us, the hardware is quality: mechanical oil bath and 2-point floating tremolo mounted inserts!!
For the price, hard to beat!

OVERALL OPINION

Honestly, if I bought it is that I fell on her face. I find it really nice and the quality of the violin has finally convinced me. This guitar is a pleasure to play, but I think today to change the pickups for double stick him: not that sound simple are bad but it does not suit my style. (I also think finding a cheap strat to mount it).
Personally, and this is only my opinion: After trial, the easier the last layer classic vibe 50's and 60's. Better finish, better vibrato, "instrument breathing" and probably better wood. (You never know what is behind opaque varnish ...)
In summary, a guitar and beautiful quality, well finished and cheap.
