Fender has a sub company that is known as Squire which is basically a cheap and budget friendly guitars for someone looking to learn how to play the electric guitar. Most of their builds of these guitars are built overseas or in Mexico and can come off pretty cheap and cheap feeling. Again this is a budget friendly guitar for someone learning how to play the guitar or someone is trying to find out whether or not that you don't want to play the electric guitar. This is a beginners guitar and the prices to match.

SOUNDS

This guitar features actually a flamed maple top with a nice looking pick guard that is a white color with a pearl inlay. You have a vintage looking headstock with the Rosewood fretboard match. You have three single quilt pickups and basically if you've ever played Fender Stratocaster guitar than you know exactly how this guitar is used. The neck pick up is going to be your most Fender Stratocaster town and one of the most frequented tones even get out of the Fender Stratocaster guitar. The body of the wood is a base wood which is not my favorite tone would it all.

The feel of this guitar is a very Fender Stratocaster town and you would be very hard-pressed to really hear the difference in this compared to a Fender Stratocaster Mexican made guitar. The build qualities can be very cheap and the feeling and balance of it is not to be very good. You'll definitely feel a difference in this guitar compared to an American made or custom shop Fender Stratocaster guitar. However, if you're looking just for a guitar that is a basic beginners guitar than this is a pretty good starting point. It has a good enough time to get you where you need especially for the price that they're asking for this guitar.

OVERALL OPINION

At new you can find these guitar so right around $300 and less. I seen them for around $250 but they usually range around the price of $280. They generally come with the gig bag and a cable in most cases so they have everything that you need to get started other than the amplifier tuner that you would need to get started. This is a good guitar for someone learning how to play the guitar and need something just to get started. It's a decent price and it's a fun little guitar for someone just learning how to play.

UTILIZATION

Comfort in the standard Start '. Trs good round, healthy, well-rgl cargo well.
On mine, the lack of vibrato 1 or 2 springs and tends supplmentaires be lgrement dcoll time. I chose to use the default but two lightweight springs supplmentaires rglent concern.

SOUNDS

Its high output level allows for the crunch by putting the pots volume background without interfering with the amp.
Diffrenciation sounds good with the slecteur.
At home in the slamming funk, the most mellow jazzy rock more or less "hairy" ... trs versatile.

OVERALL OPINION

Premire is my guitar, a gift.
I did not choose and it is the seller of the store made me BMD
I like his qualities and his default.
With exprience ... I would do this choice.

Having had a real Fender Start in the early 80
I think finally the MOST BEAUTIFUL START are the color sunburst, white or red, it's only my opinion!

for the course considering the price and finish, there's something somewhere!
the microphones are lightweight, relatively low output level, but its typical Old START STANDART is there! it sounds bad when not even on a good amp lampesssss! sue the microphone neck (hollow sound typical glitz and his middle single coil sound good but quite feeble in my opinion!)
PS: I tried many strat US MEXICO and some that did not sound better to see less!

I play blues rock strong enough and good old hard rock (for free, clapton, hendrix, winter, gallagher, Popa Chubby, ZZ TOP to vaughan or Saxon, purple, Tygers Of Pan Tang, f c marino ....) is a bit light, so I custommiser in the squier

that's what was missing, the potatoes and KeroZen in the engine!
I forgot, put a good tube amp without much effect (because it kills the sound !!!), it's like that, you hear the true sound!

OVERALL OPINION

For 1 year, 1 month customized
it's a custom scratches for about 500 euros! (with customization)

I do it again this choice because there are now good violin very cheap and good looking mic a little and always cheap!

the pickups (Duncan Designed) are very good but not great lacks a bit of a PCHE.
against it by the sound strato ...

edit after 1 year: having doubts about the quality Nut I decided to change to a Tusq nut in (8th ).... orgine of the nut is an abomination, a piece of plastic thermo-formed hollow ... LEGO type :-( .... then sustain gains of 30% minimum, nouveuax texas special pickups GFS (60th) ... a little better now that the original pickups but they s'avre very correct in clear sound .... but too lightweight in saturated overdriven.
after these operations dernires want it compares favorably with a Southwestern standar ......

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a few days, I wanted a strato cheaper than a fender mex ... I think it's best to have a foretaste of the fender for a reasonable price over the violin and the overall finish is good, therefore, possible upgrade ..
