-> Guitar factory in France More precisely PRS Grigny (Essonne);
-> Scale 650 mm, with 24 jumbo frets kinds not to mention the zero fret (I will return later);
-> The Excalibur Ultra Blues a dual configuration (bridge)-simple-simple (handle);
-> The bridge is near a Wilkinson and based on ball bearings which Confre him a longer life qu'apprciable;
-> It has a potentiomtre volume and a single Tone microphones that can be configured thanks a 5-way switch;
-> Handle "D" which is reminiscent of the ESP Horizon.
UTILIZATION
-> The handle Submitted good ergonomics, the varnish is thin and trs "fast", which is suitable for soloists from all sides. This is a pice of Saddle franais, which technically does not ncessite rglages since there does adding a carbon rod, as a trussroad. It is quite large, which does not tire the left hand (or right for hendrixiens).
-> Access in dernires frets trs is altogether good, although the chamfers at the body of the guitar does have more than bnfiques. But the ergonomics of the guitar is really enjoyable trs, from a Les Paul that serves dead horse here on your little shoulders.
-> The Dimarzio pickups offer a level of output more than adequate, but I still wonder about the appellation "Ultra Blues" ... Okay virtual microphones are vintage but the sound typical of Fender pickups Kinman, or makes a clear diffrence.
-> Still, the exca. trs adapts well to the styles and techniques, and the sound is really high.
SOUNDS
-> I play mostly Rock or Hard of, and it is aptly suited for this style of play Trained solo, I think this guitar is for a: raids are round comfort, so that the solos are no longer a problem. The species used for the body (alder both parties, table Saddle ond provide excellent holding note, a perfect balance-medium-severe acute rendering your game Fidler
-> Waiting for an all-tube, I play on a Line6, which is not the ultimate, but even with this type of amplification hardware, it's a pleasure to play with rel the Excalibur. I mainly use a Dunlop CryBaby wha it's all good and my zbres.
OVERALL OPINION
-> I play it for a little over two years on scne in RPET 'home. In short it is my best guitar.
-> The fact that we can assign style prdilection (Blues you say ?...) rvle is on balance quite nice since you can print your label with no problem (Jazz passes without problem, but it's not a Gretsch or a Gibson ES eh). I was fortunate to come across a MODEL that Submitted an original table: The Saddle was not this aspect "flammquot, de rigueur, but devious reasons (the wave of Hokusai if you know) that ressorent particulirement well with a sapphire blue finish. For cons, the zero fret, if it acts as a second nut, worn over the hours of play, so the replacement of the pi this hurts (about 30 euros). A little of this dcevant ct l.
-> For about 2300 euros, the quality of Vigier is not, I think usurped. The "Made in France" is not to be something.
-> No worries, I make the choice. I test the PRS and musicman, and my choice was the exca. Nanmoins I feel that prices go up against always ...
