UTILIZATION
Channel super nice (handmade), very fast access to high-pitched impeccable. Ergonomics nice (cut stomach), average weight.
The pickups sound Gravosa is enough Fenderien but it's still crystal clear, clean, full of Hamon, and can sound a little thicker than a Start (ash table). A pleasure.
Easily obtained large Eric Johnson type sound and crunch in a tube amp it sounds pretty incisive.
Holding agreement is terrible (more than 4 hours of play in concert and recording studio without detuning), the vibrato is very, very well when the agreement is properly adjusted.
Both studio and on stage, it is a very professional guitar is a superb instrument, with sound and unbeatable comfort for the price. It aligns perfectly with the strats and other Vigiers (also much more expensive).
The finish is superb, simple but quality, very thick varnish is class.
SOUNDS
I use it a lot in blues, funk and rhythm and blues, jazz-rock. I plugged into a Hot Rod Deluxe or a JazzChorus 50, giving a twin or AC15
The two intermediate positions are hyper crystalline deep.
The double well in hard saturation, it is clean, it does not bleed.
It sounds plugged in anywhere!
OVERALL OPINION
I use it since 2 years ago and after playing on the deluxe strats, the PRS, Ibanez series of sword, of Gibson, I can truly say that the Pacifica 904 is comparable to other great guitars it is well thought out and very well assembled.
Its price was around € 1100.
In other words, the quality / price made by Yamaha is pretty good.
The 904 is a great power, nothing to do with the other models pacifica, it is rare. If you find one for sale, please, you'll have no trouble selling it as it is conveyed.
