«  Almost perfect! »

Published on 01/19/14 at 18:25
Manufactured in Taiwan.
Handle wide and flat D 24 cases recalling Ibanez.
HSS pickup config.
5-way switch.
1 volume and 1 tone with push / pull to split the humbucker.
A switch to activate the humbucker on the two coils and with the full volume regardless of the configuration of microphones on which is (very handy).
Floyd Rose licensed perfectly into the agreement.

UTILIZATION

As I said earlier, the handle is absolutely perfect and access to acute is very easy. However the quality of the wood is an instrument that is not light. A very nice and good body necessarily has its counterpart ...
Violin mahogany can deliver a very warm and round sound while remaining slamming on light.

SOUNDS

The versatility of this guitar allows me to do whatever I want and with ease as his neck is fantastic.
I particularly like its distortion combined with the violin body mahogany round sound and well filled. I played on console amp, with or without preamp through a bunch of effects and always with the same efficiency. Currently, I play mainly console connected directly through a Sansamp GT2 or through an effects processor Roland COSM and as always, it is terrible.

OVERALL OPINION

Purchased new in 1992 for 7000 francs at the time, this guitar always follows me and frieze excellence. The violin is very beautiful, the materials are of excellent quality. The very wide and flat handle makes authentic shred machine. The pickup configuration gives a versatile guitar for playing blues, rock, metal, variety.
The original pickups are good, but if you are a connoisseur, you will still need to replace them, as I did for the micro bridge. Install a Dimarzio Mojo and this guitar again gain a higher dimension. I have many other guitars, but it really is still one of my favorite, if not my favorite. In concerts and in the studio this guitar gives me the reliability I need as a pro musician. Moreover, it is likely that you have already heard on the radio or TV on many songs I recorded for various artists and if you said "Ouahh what a sound!", Know that I n 'am as little my RGZ does the job for me ... The RGZ standard no longer produced at present and therefore you can find that (rarely) on the second hand market. In any case, do not expect me to sell you mine, I do not part with it for anything ...
