I have this microphone mounted on a J Custom RG (very high end Ibanez) in combination with a Tone Zone in bridge and an Air Norton in neck!

IDAL is for sounds spiltts (position 2 and 4), position 2 with the Tone Zone, it has a beautiful sound strat 'in position 4 something more round but even when stratabound ...

Position 3 is trs clear, but not so much caratre (it sounds not too vintage)

I put my neck on a Stratocaster mex std associated with red velvet (dp174) ...
The sound of this microphone is a super-rich ... it's nice to hear, it's bluesy, round the attack is not violent but it's super easy to do without touching the cruncher knobs.
