Published on 04/28/12 at 05:48After long hesitation, I decided to change the pickups on my Musicman Luke 2 (never liked the EMG, but always loved the handle of this guitar!).
Because of the particular format of simple, I tried without any microphones adaptable fucked. And I also was looking for high quality microphones.
Result: a set of 3 S-1 Deluxe and HB Two / Tone, and I am more than satisfied!
These pickups are amazing!
Never heard a sound as clear, precise, no hum, an incredible dynamic range!
All positions with 2 singles are usable and have an incredible record.
It can range from very funky jazzy slap round the well.
I do not regret the purchase and I will not go back the EMG!
The investment is well worth a shot: 492 euros for the set 2 S-1 Deluxe and HB Two / Tone purchased directly on the site with Joe Barden taxes and customs fees, more expensive than SD or DiMarzio set, but nothing to see!
