This is the first book on his technique that I buy to enrich my bases and I was delighted to find the information I wanted to know for example what type of microphone to which instrument and how to place the microphone. The author combines his experience with technical detail which is quite interesting. In summary this book scans the audio for the sound to mastering. It is comprehensive without being too sharp technically. Nevertheless, knowledge of sound and electronics are needed to address this item!

I also recommend Volume 1 of the audio is not bad too!
