I just bought this sub ElectroVoice double 18 "that I use on amplifier QSC RMX 1450 (in bridge) with a crossover DBX 223XL.
I use it in domestic use in a living room of 50m ² with a ceiling height of 5m, the bass is really present, it is good for the track tops. Put him in a Low Cut 40Hz (24dB/octave) and there on the electronica is a marvel, deep bass and powerful at once. In addition, its finiton is quite correct and I can tell you put up with a good sat was located ca disappointed vraimment of geule. He did not need much in terms of power to make themselves known. on the other hand, to take full advantage you need good big amps ...
The only complaint I could possibly make it is its size. Nevertheless it is still large enough for its two 18 ". Fortunately it is on wheels because otherwise .. In addition, is provided, a speaker stand for satellite (not stupid).
I honestly think for the price it is the reinforcement of the serious performance. Go there with closed eyes you will not be disappointed. I would put 9 / 10 because perfection does not exist.
Finally after a year of faithful service, I sold this well because it was too light (it does not 1000W RMS announced for sure ...) After a few evenings outdoors, I find that HP tailgating just for nothing and the electronic music it's really not the top.
With hindsight, we pay far too brand and not enough overall quality (sound quality, finish ...)
In summary, I find after having reinvested in a box that worth, that it costs way too much (when I was bought for 800 euros new, forward rate increase) for the "benefits" that offers ...
