Crysonic announced the release of SINDO V3 and availability in Native Mac OSX AU,VST (PPC /Intel Mac) and PC VST formats.
Sindo V3 is Crysonics’ third Generation Professional stereo image Expander (widener) / Narrowing Audio plug-in Processor.
The software is designed to enable to retain high level of mono compatibility with minimal side effects. The V3 of SINDO audio stereo image processor now includes a Stereo image compression feature, not to be confused with audio level compression – a stereo field width compression system developed by Crysonic, which is designed to be automated and working at zero latency, thus allowing the user to attain maximum stereo width and retain mono compatibility with minimal side effects.
Another important new tool made available with Sindo V3 is the multi-band Stereo Dynamics section with smoothing which further adds better stereo presence and definition without coloring the sound, according to the company.
Low frequency stereo separation can now also be separately targeted with adjustable cut-off frequencies and width amounts together with the ability to preview, they say.
Sindo V3 now features a stereo field display showing information regarding stereo phase coherence/ correlation and compression amounts for both Left and Right Channels when active.
