The neck pickup has a great presence with warmth and precision, not "drool" no. The bridge pickup and slamming and powerful with lots of harmonics without ever being aggressive. On my guitar mics sound very "woody" definitely more vintage than the original. I use it mainly to play jazz and blues.
The build quality is very neat, great art ...
