50W all-tube head (2 * EL34) and some 12AX7 in preamp.
In front, there are 2 channels, 1 boost per channel, independent EQ, 2 master volume.
On the rear, a effects loop with volume pot mix, a presence control (not practical!), 2 HP 2 * 16 / 1 * 8 Ohms and 2 * 8 / 1 * 4 ohms.
One channel footswitch / boos / Master Volume.

It is in my opinion all that can be sought on an amp these days, except the reverb.

UTILIZATION

The config is standard on this type of amp.
Clean channel volume + EQ (no gain)
OD channel volume gain + + EQ.

The settings are reactive, and MV 2 are really well thought out and workable.

One downside: the presence control on the back is pretty average if you must touch them live.

I use it on a cab in 2 * 12 G12H30 Heritage.

SOUNDS

Rapidly obtained a broad palette of sounds.
The clean channel is really clean clean even at high volume with humbuckers (fairly mild, it is true). The EQ rather well done can go from pretty clean enough to slap round.
When one starts the boost on this channel, you get good crunch typed natural vintage, with good dynamics. This is my favorite position on this amp!

Passing on the channel Od, we get enough classic rock sound, very (too?) Property defined. It is clear, straight, but it lacks a little fat in my opinion, and the sound is quite compressed. By adding the boost, we just tease the metal type NWBHM. It brings a bit of fat without missing (still in my opinion !), But there is always this side of the compressed sound.

It is a rather versatile amp that works quite well in any style not extreme.

OVERALL OPINION

It is a complete amp, well done, with everything you need (except the reverb). It produces sound quality, and fully respects the timbre of the guitar. Playing primarily (exclusively?) In styles blues-rock / classic rock with some excursions in areas a little more "couillus" without being metallic I used almost exclusively boosted the clean channel. The OD channel is too compressed and lacked fatty for my taste. So I changed on the advice of Gillou (thank you !) By Deliverance Fryette 60 that I would not even consider looking at my life and now changed ! It remains a very good amp, comprehensive and quality that will surely delight the ears so old as mine !
