Published on 12/29/11 at 10:32The amp crafted by Jean Michel Herdhuin Dumble Overdrive Special is a 50W (lamps of course!) Made entirely by hand. The wiring, carefully selected components and the elements are arranged very strict on the chassis. The finish of the assembly for the cherry wood version I chose is just beautiful.
1 channel, volume, bright switch, mid boost, clean / od, treble, middle, bass, level, drive, master, presence and a effects loop. In fact, you need to have the sound as clear as in overdrive.
2 6L6 power lamps and 3 lamps for the preamp.
UTILIZATION
The amp is vintage type, so for the aggressive music go your way.
SOUNDS
Well, believe it or not, I have rarely heard such a sound! and I weigh my words! Lovers sounds sweet, smooth, creamy, subtle, rich and so, I am filled and I think we are not far from the sounds "to Vaughan," short, "JMH Custom Overdrive" is a killing! The amp gives off an incredible heat and does not breath. And this is with my Start ', my Les Paul, or my very old art 345 is always the same conclusion, reversing! Jean-Michel has done a work of craftsmanship.
OVERALL OPINION
I had US amps and I think that Dumble Jean Michel is a great amp like my KINGSLEY but also very different.
