« it has everything a great »
Published on 11/13/12 at 10:23It is a small head apmli (by size) 30/15W switchable all lamps.
It must be a little over ten pounds.
2 channels:
- A clean setting with a character and gain. This channel also has a switch for an overdrive
- A distortion with adjustable treble, bass, gain, switch to mediums.
And a volume knob common to 2 channels.
At the rear of outputs 4, 8 and 16 ohms, headphone output, XLR output that emulates a speaker, effects loop, and a footswitch input for (not provided)
UTILIZATION
Harchi its use is simple.
Its clear that we have to turn a knob, it depends a lot on the guitar.
Distortion by turning the knobs and it sounds live.
I do not have the manual with it, but it is useless
SOUNDS
then just has the sound.
- In clear sound. As I there is a knob is turned, the character he plays on the tone of the guitar, but it remains a real hot round and clear sound. That said I do not use the clear sound, but it has the merit to exist and be usable.
A switching the switch crunch, it is sr gain, low gain is a real crunch, and the higher you go further back into the rock. In the end it comes to a race has its TDCA.
- In its distortion. Then it's serious ... I was a little upset at first compared to non-adjustment of mediums. There is a choice, it is either this, or we fall, but we do not vary ... In fact it is very much like that, I rule the treble, bass, gain, I lower mids ca and sends heavy.
I play hardcore punk and the head is cut for AC and all music or you need big sound
OVERALL OPINION
I use this head for 3 months, but I would have bought from the front.
I had my hands and tried not headache, I looked for a small power head hi gain (because the 120W head in coffee concert it was not much of interest) well was here certainly what is best. 30W and frankly it sends far, I've done some concert since I have the time and I have not had the opportunity to exceed 4/10 volumes.
The two problems I find is the lack of footswitch, and for me, it was a little too much gain, I should cut my guitar mic between songs (but at the same time they are active pickups) .
Apart from that, I think I'll keep this mind for a long time, it is small, it is easy to transport and above all it sends wood!
